Impact
Working together, we have made significant strides in developing the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) partnership.
Empowering Change Through Collective Effort
Collaborative efforts between VCSE organisations, Integrated Care Systems (ICS), and NHS partners have significantly impacted several boroughs in North West London (NWL). These partnerships have created a more integrated approach to healthcare and community support, ensuring that services are more accessible and tailored to local needs.
Joint initiatives have combined community-based support with clinical expertise, creating comprehensive networks that are more responsive to residents. This synergy has led to innovative solutions and improved health outcomes, enhancing the quality of life for many individuals.
Moreover, these collaborations have already brought significant changes to local health systems. The integration of services has reduced duplication and streamlined patient care pathways, resulting in more timely interventions and better-coordinated care, especially for those with complex health needs.
Empowering local communities has given them a stronger voice in shaping health services, leading to higher patient satisfaction and better health outcomes. This collaborative approach has built greater trust and ownership within the health system, reflecting positively on overall community health.
64 Cancer Grants
In partnership with RM Partners, 3ST has facilitated distribution of up to £500 grants to 64 community and voluntary groups in North West and South West London to support health awareness events and activities.
22% Back to Health
3ST’s local alliance, VCSE, and health partners achieved a 22% reduction in DNA rates in Hillingdon and Brent hospitals, improving patient health, reducing healthcare pressure, creating volunteer roles, and strengthening community capacity in just six months.
47% Higher Detection
Through 3ST’s local H4All alliance, and health partner collaboration, 79% of cancers detected were able to be detected at stage 1 or 2, a 47% higher detection rate thank normal. This early detection supported people to seek early treatment and intervention. The initiative was then rolled out nationally.
